Old-timers will tell you that one of the best advantages they had at the poker table was their mouth.

You can't legally get together with your buddies for poker night, but you could bet on a game of Texas Hold 'em at church under a bill approved by a state Senate panel.

Draw poker and Stud poker have pretty much gone the way of the Dodo bird in giving way to "flop style" poker. Texas Hold'em is king lately, with Omaha poker running a distant second.

Members of the local business community attended a poker tournament Wednesday at Horseshoe Casino, 2701 23rd Ave., in preparation for a world series of poker circuit event this Sunday.
